I have designed my own line of fabrics (using imagery from my paintings) and create infinity scarves and headbands with them. Each fabric is professionally printed (in the US) making them machine washable for easy care. See the full selection here »

I have my fabrics printed in the US, then I cut and sew every piece myself in my home studio. Base fabrics range from soft jersey knits to chiffons as light as air.

Costume Design - Frog and Toad

From time to time, I’ll take on a bigger design project like costumes for a musical! This photo is of the Duluth Playhouse’s production of “A Year of Frog and Toad”. I designed and created the costumes for the entire cast! I worked alongside the entire production team (other designers and directors) do hone the vision of costumes under the vision of our director. It was a very large project, from concept to completion, but such a fun one to see come to life!

Above: I did my initial designs in marker which was a comfortable way to begin my process. I think well with a marker in hand. Seeing the marker drawings come to life on the cast was great, so many great artists working together in this production.

Left: The cherry on top of this project was getting interviewed about my creative process by WDSE for their program “The Slice”. It was fun to talk through how I approach designing for this medium and share that with the community.
