The side of my house is covered in Virginia Creeper, an ivy that creates layers of beautiful leaves. In the fall, they turn to purples, reds, oranges and pinks. This painting is part of my “Autumn’s Glory” collection that celebrates both the natural patters of the leaves layered on top of one another and the colors of fall.

In this piece, sunlight streams through colorful leaves in the foreground with the stems, berries and green leaves of the plant softly melding into the background. The colors are vibrant making the delicate patterns of veins in the leaves feel electric. The edges of the canvas are painted black with artists signature in green.
